The 2010 Corkscrew Invitational

2010 “Corkscrew Invitational” at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on September 18th-19th
Presented by “The Stars of Superkarts” and hosted by “Northern California Karters”. Please see registration instructions at the bottom of this page.

This 2 day event puts the Superkarts at the top of the Billing not only with speed but great competition as well. Drivers are coming from 3 continents trying to earn the bragging rights of being The Best. This year we will offer 3 classes to fill the 40 Kart field.

Weekend Format

Saturday
Morning: 20 min -- Practice
Mid day: 20 min -- Qualifying
Afternoon: 25 min -- Main Event.

The grid will be set by qualifying time (not class). Main Event winner takes all. Awards given out immediately following the race. Late afternoon BBQ will be hosted by the event sponsor.

Sunday
Morning: 20 min -- Warm up
Midday: 20 min -- Pre-main (by order of finish on Saturday)
Afternoon: 25 min -- Main Event

Main Event winner takes all for each class. Awards immediately following the race.

Costs:
Entry and driver: $500.00
Transponder Rental: $50.00 weekend
BBQ Ticket: $25.00 per person
Event T-shirt: $20.00 each

Parking:
1 tow vehicle and trailer will be allowed in Pits. One support vehicle also allowed.
