Latest News... 7/2/2009 -- Wild Willow Registration Is Open!
Registration for NCK's "Wild Willow" event is now open! This is going to be the premiere
NCK event of the year with 2 days of racing, a BBQ, raffles, and a whole lot more! The
race is being held at Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, CA and should provide for some
intense competition between Northern and Southern California karters.
For those of you who are also attending the USKGP in Utah at the end of August, this race
presents a a prime testing opportunity since the track conditions will be similar to those
at Miller Motorsports park (desert setting, high elevation, warm weather). There's something
for everyone at this event, so please come out and join us! Please hover over or click the gray

6/21/2009 -- UNOFFICAL Results from Buttonwillow
We had a great day at Buttonwillow yesterday. Lots of entries, lots of close racing,
tolerable weather, and no red flags! NCK would like to thank all participants and offer a special
thanks to our visitors from out of state, the karters from Southern California, and to the
volunteers who helped with flagging duties.

6/14/2009 -- Points Archive Is Now Available
Due to popular demand, points from previous NCK seasons are now available. Simply hover over
(or click) the "POINTS" button to your left in order to view final standings and participation
stats for previous NCK seasons. Race resuls from previous NCK seasons will be made available
soon.

NCK is proud to announce the launch of its exclusive line of apparel! Please click the

6/8/2009 -- Good Luck At The Grand Nationals!
On behalf of the board and all of its members, NCK would like to wish all participants
of the IKF Road Race Grand Nationals a safe and fun week. The event is being
held this week (from June 10th to June 13th) at Eagles Canyon Raceway in Decatur, TX.
6/2/2009 -- Countdown to Buttonwillow!
With only 18 days remaining until round 3 at Buttonwillow, we're all excited about
some good racing and dry weather. We have 107 pre-entries. Please register
early via our online registration (see REGISTRATION button to your left) to avoid
a hectic race day morning and save yourself a big chunk of money!
Responses to our poll on EKN
are heavily favoring the very fast "Dog Leg" layout. Please remember NCK's excellent "100 for 100"
program that allows current NCK members to sponsor a new road racer and get discounted entry
fees! Come out and join the fun.

button to your left. Points standings after round 2 are also now available. Please see the POINTS
button to your left. As a reminder, results are immediately available via MyLaps, but those results
are considered UNOFFFICIAL until reviewed by NCK Scoring. OFFICIAL results will always
be posted on this site.

your left. Note: The layout of the registration site has changed in look, but the flow is largely
the same. If you have any questions about registration, please contact our club's Registration expert,
Don Pierce at this address. Please check back shortly as we'll soon have
in-kart footage so that you can review/learn the layout of the track.

3/30/2009 -- Registration For Thunderhill Is Open!
You may now register for round 2 at Thunderhill! Simply move your mouse over the "Registration" button to your left. If you have not
registered online yet, choose the first option (New Account). If you have already registered online (ie, you registered for Infineon using
the online system), choose the second option for instructions on how to register for the next race. The registration site location is included
in the instructions. The instructions use the Infineon event as the example. The Thunderhill event will be exactly the same except that you
will be looking for the May event instead of the February event. If you are an online registration veteran and don't need no stinkin'
instructions, goto the 3rd option to go directly to the registration site. Please do not attempt to register without reading the instructions.
The online registration site is very easy to use, but you will need to follow the steps that we have outlined. Finally, please take a look
at the last option (race day schedule) for a look at the schedule for the event.
3/22/2009 -- NCK Ruling On Driver Fairings
Today the NCK Board met and discussed the recent change that has been made in the bodywork rules for the IKF National Class
Super Stock CR125. The change made by IKF is that this class now allows only CIK fairings. The 15" fairing is no longer allowed
for the National Super Stock CR125 class.
For safety reasons, the NCK Race Director has decided to continue to allow the 15" fairings at all NCK club events. Most
competitors have expressed that without the fairing they suffer neck fatigue. The 15" driver fairing is allowed in both
Super Stock CR125 and Super Stock CR125 II classes.
If you would like IKF to change the fairing rule back to the 2008 rule (that allows the 15" fairing), you are strongly urged
to write or email IKF with your input. Please include your IKF member number.
NCK wants to make sure it is clear to everyone that at the 2009 IKF Road Race Grand Nationals (at least at this time), only CIK
fairings will be allowed.

are the official race results. Unofficial results are also posted (including fastest laps) on
www.mylaps.com.
