The Winter Laguna Classic

Laguna Seca Information

ENTRY FEE: $275.00 for 1st entry or $500.00 for 2 classes. If entering 2 classes there is a possibility you may only have 10 minutes between groups.

Important Note: By submitting the entry form, you agree to pay in full to NCK the total amount posted on your entry form. You have 24 hours after posting to cancel this entry after the 24 hour grace period you my alter your entry but can not cancel the entry. You may transfer your entry to another driver with permission from NCK. All entries are final. No refunds or roll-overs will be allowed. Race will run rain or shine. If your payment is not received by January 22, 2011 and we have racers on the waiting list, they will fill the spot and you forfeit your entry. A 92 db. sound level is in effect. It is the competitor’s responsibility to meet the sound requirements. To register, click HERE. and go straight to step 1.

RUN GROUPS: Due to the Laguna-imposed limit of 30 karts per run group, NCK will run the following groups:
Group 1: 004. Unlimited / FKE III 400-475 lbs, 007. Inter-Continental-E 465 lbs, 018. Formula 125cc 385 lbs, 020. Super Stock CR125 400 lbs
Group 2: 006. 80cc Laydown 410 lbs, Run what ya brung, West Coast TaG 400lbs same rules as TaG FBO, 019. Formula 80cc Senior 360 lbs
Group 3: 024. Super Stock CR125 II 400 lbs, 044. Unlimited II 400-475 lbs, Formula 125 II
Group 4: Yamaha Ltd(345), Yamaha Laydown(385), World Formula (375), 125-150 Open

PIT PASSES:$15.00 including minors

Entries are open to the first 120 PAID entries. After 120 there will be a reserve list. If the reserve list reaches 20 NCK will be in a position to negotiate with the track to increase the run groups to 35 karts per group.

WEATHER: This EVENT will be a “RAIN OR SHINE” race so be prepared! NO Refunds, NO Rain Checks. If you can not make it you, can request to transfer your entry to another competitor with the approval of NCK.

NOISE: It is the responsibility of the competitor to ensure that his or her kart does not exceed the maximum 92 db. At 50 ft. You get one warning to fix it. Second time you are on the trailer. No exceptions. Please click this link for more information regarding noise control.

HOURS: Gate opens at 7:00 am; Paddock closes at 6:00pm

MANDATORY Drivers meeting at 8:00 am. ALL Drivers must be present in order to receive your run group sticker(s). This sticker must be in place on the front of your kart or you will not be allowed on track. No exceptions.

AVAILABLE FUEL:
Unleaded Premium 91 Octane @ $5.00 per gallon
Leaded 110 octane race gas @ $8.00 per gallon
Unleaded 97 octane race gas @ $8.00 per gallon


RULES AND SAFETY REGULATIONS: Rules and safety regulations will be applied from the 2011 IKF rule book unless otherwise stated, posted on the NCK web site, or announced at the Drivers Meeting.

2011 HELMET RULE: New IKF rule for 2011 is that helmets must be Snell 2005 or later. If in doubt, ASK!

LODGING: No Camping allowed in the Paddock, butc amping is available in the campgrounds ringing the track. Call Monterey County Parks at 1-888-588-2267 for information about camping. For Motels and Hotels, click HERE.

The final race day schedule will be posted as the event grows closer and a better participation picture becomes clearer. Check back often!

TAG WEIGHTS: The weights for the TaG classes are as follows:

BM Jaguar, Cheetah SQ125, Easy Kart: 400 lbs
Parilla Leopard: 400 lbs
PRD, PRD 2008: 400 lbs
Rotax: 400 lbs
Italsystem ML47H, Motori Seven, Sonik (all): 415 lbs
Vortex Rok: 400 lbs
Vortex TT: 415 lbs
