Novice Driver's Safety Meeting - At the beginning of each NCK race day event, is the Novice Driver's safety meeting.

Driver's and their support team (friends and family) are coached by Novice Mentors - Dave Weiss and Roger Miller, on safety procedures and track conditions, prior to taking laps behind a pace kart and under a yellow flag.

Ranging in ages from 16 to 70 years old, this may be the first time on a road course for some drivers, while other drivers may have experience but want the opportunity to learn the track under tightly controlled conditions.
