NCK will be hosting the 1st annual Western States High Desert classic August 1-2, 2009 at Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, Ca. With 2 great days of racing planned NCK is pulling out all the stops to make this a fun weekend!

For Saturday we will start off with 3 hours of paid practice and then move into 3 open events for the afternoon the first race will be a 25 min SUPERKART Qualifer that will set the stage for Sundays pre-main and main.

The 2nd race of the day will be the Wild Willow Super Stock CR125 race this is not a money race but there will be special prizes and awards. This should be a large field of karts with some of the best of the west running!

The 3rd race of the day will be the Wild Willow TaG Team race and is a little bit more of a challenge for the TaG racer. It will be a 2-man 2-kart TaG enduro for sit up CIK style karts. This is a 30 lap race with a driver and kart change in the middle of the event. This race to will have special prizes and awards handed out. Please see the rules for this race. This race will be open to all TaG sprint karts with and without front brakes.

The last event on the track will be NCK’s famous Friends & Family Practice. If you have a friend or family member who is dying to make a lap or two in your kart, this is a great time to do it! All they need is a hot pit pass to enter and, of course, a donor.

For Sunday it will be our standard race day format with some time schedule changes so all of you can hit the road a little earlier for the trip home. Please keep checking this section for updates and information!
