NCK Hosts Multi-Series Event
The May 10th event at Thunderhill Raceway is a multiple series event;

• IKF Spring Nationals Qualifier - Class winners are eligible for preferred gridding at the 2008 IKF RRGNs.
   
• IKF Region 11 Championship Series - 2nd race of a 4 race series.
   
• NCK Championship Series - 4th race of a 6 race series.

Racer Packets were late getting processed and mailed back to the competitors, with many of the packets not being mailed for fear of late delivery.

Racer packets that were not mailed will be available for pick-up at the track, on Friday evening May 9th and Saturday morning May 10th.

Pit Pass Prices - Racers have been telling NCK Board Members if Hot Pit passes were less expensive, they would bring more friends and family members...  Prove it!!!

Hot Pit passes and Paddock passes are now the same price...  $10.00.
 
You must be a minimum of 14-years of age to purchase a Hot Pit pass.  Spectators under the age of 14 must purchase a Paddock pass.  Children 5 and under are FREE.

New To Road Racing? - Each race day starts out with a Novice Driver's meeting and multiple laps behind a pace kart, followed by open practice sessions...  If your kart is all prepped and ready to go, you can expect to get over an hour of track time, before the start of the first race.

Friends & Family - NCK will be featuring the ever popular "Friends & Family" practice at the May 10th event, at Thunderhill Raceway.

The cost to participate in the "Friends & Family" practice is $zero over and above the purchase of a Hot Pit pass.

Appropriate attire / safety equipment is mandatory to participate...  See page 10 of the race info packet for more details.
 

2008 IKF Region 11 Championship Series
This years IKF Points Championship series consists of 4 races (no throwaways), starting with Reno-Fernley Raceway on April 19 and concluding at Thunderhill Raceway on September 13.
 

2008 NCK Championship Series
This years NCK Points Championship series consists of 6 races (best 5 out of 6 races – 1 throwaway), starting at Buttonwillow Raceway on February 1st and concluding at Thunderhill Raceway on September 13th.

2008 Class Weight Changes
Class #28 WC Max-Leopard @ 375 lbs has been changed to 425 lbs.
 

2008 Class Numbers
Virtually all Regional and Local option classes have been assigned new class numbers.  Please include the class number along with the class name, when filling out your race entry forms, as it helps to assure that you are entered in the proper class.
